"I was very disappointed with my recent stay at the Fontainebleau. The condition of the room fell far below expectations for a hotel of this reputation and price point. Upon arrival, the room was noticeably unclean, with dirty carpeting and an overall lack of proper housekeeping standards. Additionally, several fixtures were outdated or not functioning properly, including broken light fixtures and a malfunctioning door key reader, which created unnecessary inconvenience. Equally concerning was the level of service. Interactions with staff were consistently unprofessional and, at times, outright rude, which only compounded the negative experience. Overall, this stay did not meet even basic expectations for cleanliness, maintenance, or customer service. I would not recommend this property based on my experience."

"This property is new and clean. However, the walls are very thin, and it was very hard to sleep because I could hear people on both sides of me. And they must know this because they leave chocolates and earplugs on the bed. "

"The Catalina never fails when it comes to food but my stay this time was pretty average. My room wasn't ready on time and I felt like the gentleman that was checking me in showed no since of urgency. He just said have a seat and I'll let you know. After sitting for about 30 minutes with no follow up from him, I went back to the front desk and my room still wasn't ready. I think decided to go next door to Taco Taco and have a drink. Honestly, I feel like the drinks and an appetizer should have been on the house. Also, they need to stop advertising the free airport transportation, as this is no longer a perk for staying with this hotel group. "

"The Mondrian had all the appearances of a great place to stay for a weekend in the sun, but the devil is in the details. Checking in on a Fri, my room wasn't serviced until late afternoon on Sun. There was no body wash in the shower, though a space for one, so I used a bar soap. Then when I did get the servicing late Sun, a bottle with a very small amount was left in my bathroom but not mounted nor able to be mounted in my shower. There were smokers around the pool, and the smoking rules were not enforced. Yet any attempt to bring simply a water bottle to the pool was thwarted. The prices for the cabanas were very high, and thus many were unused. I would love to have used one but wasn't going to spend 400-500/day. The food at the restaurant was pretty decent but overpriced. Staff was generally pleasand and helpful, though name tags were not worn consistently, hence I can't really give them any shoutouts. One bright spot was the fact they provided free sunscreen at the bar, a lovely scented one at that."

"I highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking to stay in the downtown area. The staff maintained the property perfectly during one of the busiest weeks in Miami. They were friendly and prompt with everything I needed and the hotel offers rooms to suite any size group, wonderful amenities, and a great location. Gale will definitely be my go to any time I am in miami. "
