"Countryside cottage in a very quiet location. Easy to find and only a few miles to the local village. Everything that we needed."

"Really great place for a stay. Excellent facilities, fabulous decor, great space. Enjoy a relaxing break to visit local area. Thankyou."

"Fantastic location. Ideal for what we needed but also really rural-feeling and peaceful. We found it quiet and charming. We enjoyed wandering in amongst the old orchard and down through the copse, across the scrubland that forms part of the floodplain of the Tyne. It was good to know there are badgers around although we weren’t lucky enough to see anyway. The dawn chorus was impressive. Very pleasant indeed. Definitely will book again if we’re back in the area. "

"My stay was amazing, great local country walks and great views. Differently would recommend."

"Lovely cottage which is situated close to Durham City centre.Helpful, friendly host, who was on hand when we had any problems. Also, a very good Italian restaurant next door."
