"We spent two nights at the Leagate Inn and our only criticism would be the heat in our room. The heating or hot water pipes appear to run directly under the floor and even with the fan running all night and the window open it was still far too hot. This might explain why the hot water in the bathroom is almost at volcanic temperature. That aside, our room was large, well furnished and had all the usual facilities. There’s a large gravel parking area and the although the Inn doesn’t look particularly stunning from the outside, once inside you discover a beautiful interior that is cosy and welcoming. We traveled down from Scotland and chose to stay at the Leagate Inn due to it’s location about seven miles from the East Kirkby Airfield. When we walked into the bar area of the Leagate Inn we were immediately aware of the low ceiling and several cosy seating areas which off a great vibe. We were visiting the nearby East Kirkby Airfield to see the Lancaster and Mosquito do taxi runs and as we entered the Leagate bar area I could easily imagine what the atmosphere must have been like for many of the bomber crews who frequented Inn’s such as this during the Second World War. The restaurant where we had breakfast and an evening meal was well laid out, comfortable and all the staff were pleasant, efficient and helpful. The food was also excellent. I would highly recommend this Inn."

"Excellent site with lots of things to do. The accomodation was clean and very airy. The location was ideal for us as it was near the end of Conningsbury runway which was one of main reasons for our visit. Nice bars, a little pricey, but a good choice of ale's and cocktails. No late partying which was good. Great location for all of the various visitor sites and airfield's. Good for getting to Lincoln also."

"The only word I can think of is, "Perfect"! The staff are approachable, friendly and very helpful. Breakfast was great, with an extensive menu to chose from. I cannot think of any negatives and will definitely be staying there again. It may appear to be a bit pricier than other alternatives in the area, but on balance, what you get from staying at The White Hart, I think is great value for money. Well done everyone at The White Hart, keep going!"

"The room was on the 1st floor so there was no worries about overhead footsteps. There is a lift so there is no problem taking cases upstairs. The room was clean and fresh. We had a room with a balcony. It was so relaxing sitting out for an hour. On arrival the staff at reception were very helpful. I had left a plug extension the previous weekend and one of the hotel housekeepers brought it to our room. Love coming to this hotel and recommend it. Especially if you're a golfer."

"This is a budget hotel. My room was only £35 so my expectations were not very high and I was prepared to put up with whatever. But in many ways I was pleasantly surprised. They had a secure place to keep my bicycle overnight which is very important to me. The room was clean and prepared with fresh towels etc. The only two reasons I didn't give 5 stars is that there was no hot water. As the reception was only staffed for a few hours I found out too late to ask anyone for help. My second point is that a five a clock check in time is really a bit late. But then I knew that when I booked."
