"We had a lovely stay at Hotel Indigo Torquay and overall it was a wonderful experience. From the moment we arrived, the staff were exceptionally friendly, welcoming, and helpful, which really made the stay feel special. The hotel itself is stylish, comfortable, and has a great atmosphere, making it a relaxing and enjoyable place to stay. The only very small negative was the shower door. The handle on the inside is quite small and difficult to pull, especially when your hands are wet and slippery. I also have a fear of being trapped, so I did have a brief moment of panic, which wasn’t helped by the fact I didn’t have my glasses on at the time. That said, this was a minor issue and didn’t detract too much from the overall experience. We still thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and the warmth and professionalism of the staff more than made up for this small inconvenience. We would happily return and would definitely recommend Hotel Indigo Torquay to others looking for a welcoming and comfortable stay."

"We stayed in a spacious family room with a beautiful sea view. The beds were comfortable and the linens were clean; we really liked the room's location. However, we had some issues with cleanliness—the carpet was dirty, and the bathtub drain was clogged, causing water to pool during showers. Also, the edges of the tub were not clean. On the positive side, the outdoor pool was open and heated, which our daughter really enjoyed. The pool area was well-decorated and maintained. The staff were helpful and polite. As for breakfast, it was quite ordinary with limited options, but they provided cheese once we asked for it. It met our expectations but wasn't anything spectacular."

"From the moment we checked in everyone was very helpful and friendly. The room was lovely and the bed VERY comfortable. Breakfast was amazing, great choice, everything very fresh, continuously refilled and area kept very clean. Parking in car park opposite hotel was very convenient. All in all a great stay and I will return!"

"Just an overnighter but could have stayed so much longer! Such an unexpected, welcome find - quality, cleanliness & commitment to high standards are obvious from the moment you walk in and the (upgraded - thank you) room was comfortable - luxurious in fact - and full of homely touches and practical little extras. The bottled water & milk were a nice touch and the toiletries / tea & coffee etc were top of the range, as were the hosts! Genuinely welcoming and both striking just the right balance between friendliness & professionalism. Breakfast was cooked to order and delicious - well worth £5, especially when you consider how much most hotels charge for a buffet of stuff that looks as if it's been left lying around since daybreak. Good-sized powerful shower. Bedroom & communal area cleverly decorated & furnished - feels like an African safari lodge! There is parking but Torre railway station is only 5 mins away, as is a local bus stop on the main Newton Abbot - Brixham route. Nice & quiet ares though. Can't find any fault and would 100% recommend for any length of stay. Thank you to hosts D&H!"

"This hotel is very dingy and shabby. The bedroom had dark grey walls, making it feel.like a cell. There was no.breakfast. i didnt want to sleep there, so I slept on my friend's sofa instead. It is by far the worst place I have ever stayed. I wonder if it being used primarily to house homeless people. "
