"Clean and comfy room, and a nice bar area. Given it's an out-of-town hotel with plenty of space, the parking charges are very high. There are car chargers however, which was very handy."

"This is a difficult review. The owners have only recently taken over and are working hard to improve things. The place is very tired in places, needing repairs and redecorating. The staff were lovely, the food was very good, the bed was nice, clean and comfortable.....but there were stains on the carpet and the bathroom was dirty."

"Really friendly staff but my room was shabby with marked, stained and ripped wallpaper. It was located at the front of the property with a lot of late night noise and light from the main road. I see many other 10/10 reviews but can not say they reflected the room I was given. The room was clean, however."

"Food was nicely presented and there was a good choice of breakfast and dinner options. Very clean. Staff very helpful and friendly. Good parking and EV charging available. Part of the hotel has been very freshly painted with new carpets which was lovely. Would recommend."

"This was an emergency stop over for me as I needed a break and sleep. Mattress was not very comfortable at all the bedroom was tidy and clean. Breakfast choice was either McDonald’s or Costa heated sandwich …not exactly what I would class as a breakfast and being a motorway service station everything was excessively expensive as well. but as I said, this was an emergency night stay and it served its purpose perfectly for me."
