"Cool family friendly place with lots of activities (ping pong, minigolf, canoes and kayaks) and a beautiful location and view from all the rooms. Very generous and tasty breakfast, too."
"The staff was very friendly and courteous; the room comfortable and spacious. We enjoyed its convenience to area sights and dining choices. Breakfast was ample and the property, overall, was neat and clean. We were there in September, so the pool wasn't open, but it looked very inviting. Would definitely stay there again should the I have the opportunity to travel to Booths Bay again. "
"Everything was perfect. It’s an amazing home and the area is peaceful. The house was clean and it has everything you need. I will definitely be back. Thanks for a wonderful stay."
MAINE SALT WATER COTTAGE WITH DOCK - MINUTES TO BOTANICAL GARDENS
10/10 Excellent
"House was perfect for a family get together. Big enough to have spaces for individuals to be alone and spaces for everyone to gather. Beautiful location right on the water so every moment was spectacular. Our host was always available and helpful. We enjoyed the surrounding area as well, hiking, eating oysters on the river, the Botanic Gardens are fabulous -- we will definitely return!"
"This was our first time staying in Boothbay. We loved our time on Barters Island. The house is very comfortable and clean. The dock and grounds are lovely. We rented kayaks and enjoyed exploring the area around the island. We visited nearby land trusts: Porter Point, Ovens Mouth, Oak Point Farm, and Florence Perkins Homestead. We recommend lunch at Newagan Inn and Cozy Dockside in Southport. Property managers were great, responsive and helpful. Thank you!"
