Evenings by the fire and time unequivocally invested in self/family were unforgettable.Our boys loved it, and so did we; so much that we briefly found ourselves imagining what it would be like to stay for good. "A great stay near Index. This is our 3rd time to Index in the last couple of years. So amazing!The A-Frame was a great little spot right on the banks with easy access to the river. The cottage was cozy and small. The propane fire place definitely kept it warm inside. Great water pressure and having a water heater is always nice. The spiral staircase up to the loft can be a little tricky and tight. But manageable!Had a problem with the hot tub on the first day. Communication was super quick to resolve the issue. However, with our carrier and no WiFi. We had to head into town to communicate. Great stay. Would recommend! "

"DO Not stay here! Owner clearly is only concerned about collecting money and puts NO effort into making this a nice place to stay. Hard to even mention all the problems with this property. They warn you about the high mineral content of the water- not about the mildew in each of the toilets and dried urine on the toilet seats on arrival. Kitchen is dirty, disorganized, poorly stocked with utensils. The pans provided are Disgusting- should be ashamed to offer those for use. Not a single blanket out for chilly days lounging. Light bulbs out throughout the home. Washer is broken- rinses after the final spin so your clothes are soaking wet. Since it doesn’t work right, we really question whether our sheets were clean on arrival. Filthy bath mats were hung up and folded onto a clean side when we arrived. Manager checked it and said it was fine- not so. Garbage cans outside were overflowing when we arrived. No closet in the master bedroom - had it locked. Breakers, which trip easily, are behind locked doors do you have to wait for manager to come. Charging a cleaning fee for this service is robbery. The only broom in the place was broken with a jagged handle/ noted in prior reviews but never dealt with. Hair clogged sinks were a nice touch. PVRBO does itself a major disservice by allowing properties like this to rent to people offering standards below what most would consider basic health standards. Just a poor place- good potential with poor execution. "
