It was very quiet and relaxing. Sitting in the hot tub, while it was raining, and listening to the river was very serene. Loved the wood burning stove. Made the room nice and cozy.
Everything about this stay was fabulous. Our host was always available to answer questions. There cabin was charming, clean, and the hot tub was a added bonus. I recommend this hidden treasure to anyone looking for a quite beautiful view of the river and wooded area. It was a very enjoyable experience.
We had a great stay at Chase’s River Cabin. Very clean and well equipped home. Communications with the host were great. Was a bit hard to find initially because Apple Maps didn’t take us quite far enough down the gravel road but after a little exploring and we found it. There are other homes on each side of the cabin, one could easily be seen from the hot tub area but overall we still felt very secluded. Still a fantastic stay!
I absolutely loved this location! The scenery was beautiful. The was consise and fast communication with the VRBO listers. This place had all the commodities you'll want for a peaceful trip that lets you get away and unconnect for a bit. It was a little difficult to find the place for the first time as the driveway was not super apparent at first glance. I would recommend this property 10 out 10 times!
Since 2020 a group of women ftienfs have been taking 4 nights at least once a year to just relax, play and do what we want to when we want to. This cabin provided us privacy from each other when we wanted it or togetherness for meals and conversation. We also did a cold plunge in the little beach formed from a nice eddie in the river. The sound of the river was mezmerizing and the kitchen had everything we needed. Would stay again. Communications with the owners was especially nice.stay again.river was sounwonderfulquiet
Chase's cabin was even better than we had hoped. Not only is the place clean and ridiculously well stocked, the hot tub and location right on the creek is fantastic. We only wish we could have stayed longer.
We had a lovely stay at Chase's River Cabin! The location on the river bank is gorgeous; you essentially have your own private beach. The owners were very communicative and helpful (even when there was a neighborhood power outage) and check in/check out was easy and straightforward. I would absolutely stay here again! (One note for anyone with mobility challenges, the steps down to the river bank can be a bit tricky to navigate, so just be aware!)
The place was exactly what we were looking for - quiet, comfortable, and with physical and visual access to the river. The home was well stocked and welcoming, we really loved the atmosphere. Mornings on the porch/patio overlooking the river were one of my favorite activities. The owners were wonderfully helpful and communicative. We fully recommend this location! _ It is definitely one we would visit again.
very cool area, cabin on a hill in the woods on a river is perfect for someone looking to get away or just relax as you can hear the river running 24/7. the cabin is also bigger than it seems and the pictures do not do it justice. located on the mountain loop in the cascades if you are an outdoor person you will not be bored, you can go up river and kayak back to the cabin or go on one of the many hiking trails throughout the area.
Terrific rental property. We loved the river, the hot tub, the porch overlooking the river. Pantry was stocked with useful condiments, including coffee beans. Granite Falls is close enough to get groceries easily (and there's a couple of nice restaurants there, which we visited on an earlier trip to the area), but you feel quite isolated. Good hiking trails nearby. The owners were quick to respond to questions. Clean, comfortable. Highly recommended.
This is the first time I ever booked for a cabin.Never really did it because of the headache I thought it would cause me. I can say this is honestly the nicest cabin I have ever been to plus they make it so easy to book
It was a little too cold at night to sleep with the windows open to listen to the river as we slept but the rain on the roof made up for that. The only bad nights sleep was when we thought we needed to set our alarm to wake up early. We never set the alarm the rest of our stay. The neighbors to the left put up a no trespassing sign so we couldn’t walk along the river back and that was sad for us. But the home was great. Would definitely rent this home again.
The space was very clean and stocked with essentials. Great views and cozy atmosphere. But a few key things really kept this from being a great stay. First, the hot tub could only get up to 104f. I was really looking forward to a hot soak after a winter hike but instead I got to sit in some lukewarm water. But the biggest issue was actually the communication from the property management company. As soon as I finished booking my “pet friendly” stay they sent me a message saying I owe an additional nightly fee for my dog. I said I would have preferred this to be called out beforehand. Their response was to the affect of “it’s in our terms” which I felt was very flippant. Fine I paid the extra fee. But the very next day they sent me an “offer” where I could pay them even more money if I liked. I could pay a fee to check in early, or an even higher fee to check in even earlier. It just felt so exploitative like I was being nickel and dimed by a Motel 6. That really killed the vibe of my stay before I even checked in. TLDR the space is clean and beautiful, hot tub is mid, property management loves extra hidden fees.
