"This is an authentic Japanese Ryokan, where you sleep on mats on the floor. We used three mats each to be comfortable. The room was spacious. The bathroom is immaculate and we loved using the onsen or hot bath. The Japanese breakfast was absolutely delicious and included a great variety of foods. The staff was gracious and very helpful. We could store our luggage and they got us a taxi when we left. I highly recommend this place for an authentic Japanese inn experience. It is literally across the street from the peace park and a mile or two from the train station. It is a perfect location."

"Really loved staying at this hotel. Cozy, convenient, and very comfortable overall. It’s close to Hiroshima Station (just a couple of streetcar stops away) and also within easy reach of the Peace Memorial Park. There’s a streetcar stop right next to the hotel that also takes you directly to the ferry terminal for Miyajima Island, which made getting around very easy. The layout is nice and practical, and breakfast was a highlight. Great variety, and even when it was busy the line moved quickly with only a short wait. The dessert selection was especially good, particularly the lemon-based sweets. The hotel also has a public bath, although I didn’t get a chance to use it. Staff were very friendly and accommodating throughout my stay. The area feels very safe and well connected, with retro streetcars running through the city."

"The staff are there to guide you through the self check-in process and the breakfast was nice with a great variety of options. Plenty of buses and tram stops nearby if you prefer not to walk however Okonomi-Mura is the next street along and most other main landmarks are within a 20 minute walk. My only minor gripe is how few (small) lifts there are for so many rooms, you can end up waiting a while."
