"The property was very sparsely furnished, and the soft furnishings were very dirty. The heaters in both bedrooms were falling off the walls, and the mirror in the master bedroom was leaning against the wall because the stand was broken. There was also no mirror in the bathroom, which is really a necessity. We contacted the property manager as soon as we got there to report these issues and asked if they had any fans that they could lend to us, as the property was extremely hot and uncomfortable. We had no response during our stay. We did finally get a note from the property manager on the last day about our move out, but nothing about the issues that we raised. "

"After many years of attending this well appointed hotel finally i got an upgrade. The hotel is well situated for walks along Shakespeare's smug Trent. The Burton Bridge Brewery is over the road. Town centre a short walk. Parking more than adequate. I think if you can put up with the road noise of a weekend its one of the best hotels in town. Parking my confuse some as the hotel is on an island. Check during winter for flooding which can close the old bridge. Popular during the towns annual boating regatta."

Plenty of parking outside and it is located close to shops and places to eat. Great communication from the owner. Would definitely recommend and stay there again when we are up North!"
