"Goodish property with nice staff. Probably not ideal if you’re a bule. Roof top pool is lovely but closes at 7pm. It’s adjacent to the bar which is a bit uncomfortable to swim in when there a lot of fully clothed non-bule locals sitting there… $9.50 AUD for one stubbie of local beer. Breakfast offerings were ok but we skipped the second morning as it was dominated by local food and not that appealing to kids. "Not a five-star place, this hotel's seen better days. It might've been fancy back in the early 2000s, but it's seriously screaming for a makeover. The whole design is outdated and blah. The carpet was grimy, the sofa was disgusting, and worst of all, no coffee maker or iron – and they said they were out when I asked! Unacceptable for a supposed five-star hotel, I'm not going back.n."

The staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was excellent with lots of choices from continental to traditional food like bubur ayam and nasi goreng.
