"This is an unsafe space for solo female travelers. As I was checking in there was a person yelling at the front desk about something which should have been my first clue but it was late and I just wanted to sleep after traveling a long way. Got my key and found my room. The balcony directly above my room had 5-6 men standing outside on the railing watching me as I parked and went inside and dropped my bag. No issues from them but it was very unsettling being watched by a group of men. Took my dog for a walk around and around the corner of our room a man and woman were engaged in a loud argument in which the man started trying to kick in her door while she yelled that her kid was inside and to stop. That was my last straw, I packed up my stuff and left for another hotel. Not worth the stress."

"Elevator inoperable. For the price the hotel was adequate, not particularly pleasurable. Cable tv terrible."

"The carpets were so gross. And sticky. Don't walk around without shoes. The elevator what was listed in wheelchair accessible things did not exist. So neither is wheelchair accessible gym. And the first floor restroom was out of order. It was a smoke free hotel but the hallways and stairwells smelled of it. People would prop the side doors open and stand in the doorways to smoke. There was an arbor company residing there so the entire parking lot was full of their big trucks and trailers making it hard to park. We had to park next door and walk over. We were there for a Special Olympics event so I was sadden that they were less than accommodating in accessibility to a lot of our athletes "

"We loved everything about this little gem. Pat was so wonderful to communicate with. I felt like I made a new friend. The home is so, so charming. It truly is more like a home than a rental. My husband and I travel quite a bit and have rented plenty of places through vrbo and, I must say, this is my very favorite so far. It was clean, well stocked, had every amenity, including TVs with YouTube in the bedrooms (a big plus for me). The bed in the master was dreamy comfort with its pillowy topper. We slept very well there. We were able to park in the driveway in the back of the house and really appreciated that since the street parking in the front gets a bit crowded. We had my husband's full size pick up and, by coming in from the far end of the back alley, he was able to pull in and back out easily. Parking is always an important factor for us because we like to protect our vehicles. This was perfect. The washer and dryer were convenient. Loved that. The back patio was like a ray of sunshine just to look at through the kitchen window. Well done, Pat. Well done. We enjoyed visiting downtown McKinney. There are so many cute shops and restaurants there. The Rustic Chandelier and downtown McKinney compliment one another in a charming sort of way. If you love charming, this is your place. If I ever come back to McKinney, I'm coming back to the Rustic Chandelier!! Did I mention the chandeliers?! I could go on and on. This little doll house has it all. Excellent all around."
