"The staff was kind and responsive. The AC in one room was difficult to control. This property must have been beautiful years ago and needs a renovation. If you need a secure place to stay for a night or so it’s adequate. "

"We booked an ocean view balcony premiere room but was placed in a garden view room because we arrived a day late due to flight delays/weather, then we had no hot water for showering until we were placed in the original room we booked a day later, they did give us credit for good and beverages and a night free but are still waiting for the refund…. The property is spectacular and staff polite. "

"Room very clean. Bed v comfortable. Instructions for air conditioning would be v useful for those of us coming from climates where it is not necessary! Only diwnside was hot tub was very dirty and cold. Outside terrace good but tub would have been. Uch appreciated both after a long journey and day of sightseeing"

"The Residence Inn by Marriott San Juan Isla Verde was an excellent stay! The staff were friendly and helpful, they texted us to check in and ask if we needed anything. Our room was clean and comfortable. The area around the hotel was safe, we were able to walk around at night. The beach was only a 5 minute walk and the hotel provides beach chairs and umbrellas and bikes if needed. Old San Juan was a short uber trip away and the airport is only 5 minutes away. I would definitely stay here again! "

"I stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn San Juan Condado for a solo trip expecting a relaxing getaway based on a great experience I had here two years ago. Unfortunately, this stay was extremely disappointing. The biggest issue was major construction nearby that started before 7:00 AM every morning. This was never disclosed before or during check-in, and it completely ruined any chance of sleeping in or having a relaxing morning. While I understand the hotel can’t fully control outside construction noise, my room placement made things much worse. I was placed right next to the elevator, with guests coming and going constantly, and also next to a utility closet where staff were working in and out throughout the day. The noise level was incredibly disruptive. I asked twice to be moved to a quieter room, and unfortunately the staff never followed up or offered a solution. Even just an acknowledgment or update would have been appreciated. I specifically chose this hotel because of the great experience I had here two years ago, hoping for a peaceful solo trip. Instead, the stay was stressful and far from relaxing. Sadly, after this experience, I won’t be staying here again. "

"Absolutely amazing staff. Everyone was so sweet and helpful. Our main cleaning staff was phenomenal. I’m a stickler for details and they met all of them! Love this place will absolutely recommend it to anyone!!!"
