"The staff were kind and helpful. The hostel has beautiful murals. Rooms clean and spacious.
Fyi, they speak Spanish only but we did fine with only knowing a little of the language."
"The room and bathroom were lovely, very antique feel. A beautiful lobby, delicious food and very friendly receptionists. The location is amazing, very central. My friend and I really enjoyed our stay with you!"
"Great decor, walking distance to Plaza de Armas and another beautiful plaza along the way. Great eating options, affordable. Only drawback was the bed- very hard, needs more blamkets"
"Staff very friendly, clean room, excellent hot water and wifi, location better that its can't be better just in the middle of the two main plazas, safe for a walk during the day or middle of the night "
"Located at downtown center . Restaurant and stores nearby. Didnt sleep much during our stay because of the fire that occured in the next building , we had to open the door to the porch as it smelled smoke inbour room and was suffocating us .Also , towels were old and has shreds at the sides . "
"The pictures used on Expedia for the rooms represent the room in its "tidiest state", but when you actually are in one of the rooms, the interior is in much worse shape (walls/beddding). The bathroom section has a toilet that barely has room for legs because a wall is in the way. At night mosquitoes can come in and so do cockroaches. While I am not scared of either, the mosquitoes are definitely annoying.
While if you have command of Spanish, you can talk with the receptionist but if you don't...
"This is a great hostel, with everything you need. Friendly staff and they make you breakfast to order (have to pay for breakfast but it’s very good value) "
