"I loved the room, it was so cozy, really nice old fashioned inn style roof but with a soft, cushy bed. Very spacious and lots of amenities within the room, tv, kettle, everything you need."
"Didn't get my cide to get into property had to call hotels.com. The stairs are very awkward with small children. Heating Didn't work correctly gor first three days. Kitchen needs more cutlery ( knife & spoon). "

"Lovely welcome ,butter, milk ,bread ,eggs ,juice .teac coffee and sugar provided too .Beautiful courtyard garden, table chairs and bench but weather didn’t allow us to use it sadly . Comfortable double beds . Nicely decorated bedroom and kitchen .Lovely modern bathroom, fluffy towels Great kitchen, well equipped with modern appliances. No freezer tho sadly so no ice cubes for drinks or way to re freeze cold packs . Quite a few marks on walls that detract from property, no blinds or curtains in landing which meant we woke up at the crack of dawn sadly. No blind in bathroom so privacy was an issue once it was dark& same for the kitchen. The lounge was comfortable but no door meant it was bit drafty .Childrens hand prints on patio doorPerfect for exploring surrounding area.free on street parking and tons of extra parking very close by too.Very very creaky floorboards on stairs and landing .Think it would possibly feel a bit cramped for 4 adults . Contacted multiple times to ask for earlier check in as 5 meant first day was over before you could settle in but was told it was upto cleaning/ management company. Even asked Staycotswolds to message owner but still no reply .Rather awkward having to ask few times before it was sorted 1 hour earlier. Check out morning cleaners arrived on the dot to start.we were loading the car so 10-15 mins over felt rushed out of the way .Overall a pleasant house but little fine tuning would make it fantastic.better communication needed too ."
"Had a lovely stay at Windsor cottage. Well presented, great amenities and the most comfortable bed in the master bedroom. Slept like a log!
Ate out in local restaurants, which were lovely especially Alberto’s Italy.
There are a couple of free parking areas in town 5-10 minutes away. During our stay there was a film set in place for Father Brown and a restriction at the end of the road. It didn’t take away from our stay, but was glad of the premier inn parking just a 100m away. We pulled up to the cottage easily to drop off but when the film set was in place that week only, we carried back to the premier inn really close car park. At the time only £3 a night if you pay in the machine right by the premier inn entrance, as advised by their staff. Worked really well. Would highly recommend using it for the cottage as it made coming and going from the cottage really easy with lots of spaces.
(The only very tiny issues to highlight to the owners need to maintain the path out the back of the property, to make more pleasant use of the back gate for rubbish. Also just some maintenance like the blind in the bathroom)
However I would definitely book again as it’s a great base for Blenheim and the rest of the beautiful Cotswolds.
One bathroom which has a massive shower, the lounge was cosy with a log burner and the kitchen was well appointed for our short stay. We really enjoyed our stay at Windsor Cottage.
Thank you!"
"The location was close to the high street and conveniently accessible to nearby attractions in the Cotswolds. The house was cozy and warm, making it a great choice for a family winter getaway for a few days. However, there were a few minor details that could be improved, such as the TV remote lacking batteries (we had to purchase and replace them ourselves) and the kitchen knives being quite dull, which made them difficult to use. These small points aside, we had an enjoyable stay overall."
