"First, this is not a hotel. It's a property operated by the owner. So it doesn't have those hotel facilities. The property is located inside the West Lake (Xihu) scenery district. So it's quiet and walking distance to those West Lake must-see places. The owner is very friendly."

"this is a very nice family type run hotel, very good located with amaizingly green surrounding. If you want feel like living in typical China neighbour hood other than huge hotels then book here. The hotel is certainly more modest style but very worthwhile for the price. Restaurants are close by, we felt safe to stay there. We enjoyed our stay."

"It looks like the property is undergoing some renovations. Check-in was done by someone at the reception counter who cannot speak English. He came upto our room, but the key card was not working. We had to go back to the reception to get another card for another room. Wifi password was provided only after we asked for it. But the connection was very bad.
No breakfast provided. No restaurants at the hotel. The shower handle at the bathroom was leaking water everywhere.

"Villa is the best choice I made to stay in Hangzhou. The service is excellent and they would offer to help solve my problem.

"The staff is very friendly. I love the free beverages and snacks from 1980s. The decorations give you an old time flavor, but the facilities are very modern. The location is super good, very close to Xihu (West Lake). I really enjoyed staying there."
