"Room 5. Absolutely awful, filthy floor not been hoovered for months, dirt everywhere, wouldn't even touch the kettle! Shower is full of mould and there are urine and stains under the toilet seat. Pillows completely stained brown, dirt/fluff on the sheets and on the top of the duvet. Obviously not been cleaned in months! Needless to say we went somewhere else to sleep, absolutely disgusting! Hotels.com you should be ashamed of yourselves listing this accommodation!"

"The property was in pleasant grounds, in an attractive village. There are a number of b and b rooms in the barn which is now an annex to the main house. The room had a high ceiling so was airy and spacious. The ensuite shower room was too. The bed could be a double or two singles so was large size and we found to be comfortable. However, I did find the bed in the room we were in to be a little firm for my liking, but that is personal taste The breakfast, from the fresh fruits to the fantastic poached eggs and bacon etc was amazing. "Slightly unusual place to stay in that it feels more like a bar that is never open than a hotel. A bit like you have walked into someone's private party. The bedroom was fine but the place has a hard to explain atmosphere. The hotel front door is often locked and you have to unlock it with some weird combination lock. Breakfast is freshly cooked and very nice but it does take some time (25 minutes), so you need to allow for that, and doesn't start until 7:30. Parking opposite on the street and...
