"The hotel itself is magnificent, sitting on the hillside overlooking the Welsh and English border. From the moment you step in you know you are inside a great hotel and full of history. The team where attentive and ensured we were looked after at check in and throughout. The upgrade was reasonably priced and well worth it having full access to the Signature areas. "The hotel is ideally located and was a great base for my stay. The room was clean, spacious and comfortable, with an excellent shower and a very comfortable bed. The scent the hotel uses in the lobby is amazing. Parking was straightforward and conveniently located underneath the hotel. The only downside was the breakfast, which felt expensive for a fairly basic buffet, especially when there are better-value options available locally. Overall, a comfortable and convenient hotel, but I would recommend eating breakfast elsewhere."
