"Quite simply the property exceeded expectations in every way. The guest house is thoughtfully designed and appointed. We enjoyed the "remoteness" allowing our party to sit on the deck and view the milky way while only being 15 minutes form Murphys. Exceptionally clean property. The hosts were easy to contact, quick to respond and accommodating. It would have been a joy to cook in the kitchen, however our brief trip did not allow time to prepare a meal. I wish all VRBO properties were of this caliber. We would love stay here again if be make it back to the area!"

"We really enjoyed our stay! The location was fantastic, just over a mile from Main Street with easy access to shopping, dining, and wine tasting. The home was bright, cozy, comfortable, and everything functioned properly. The large driveway/carport made parking two cars very easy.There are a few things that could use attention. Several drawers, cabinet doors, and closet doors were broken or not fully functional. The kitchen cabinets, baseboards, and area around the refrigerator also needed a deeper cleaning. We noticed quite a few dense black widow webs around the hot tub steps/base and near the front door eaves. The hot tub itself was great, but the bromine floater was completely empty and appeared to need attention.We were surprised there were exactly six towels and no extras. With five women using the hot tub, separate hot tub towels would have been very helpful. Also, the listing advertised a king-size bed, but there were actually two queens and bunk beds. Not a huge issue, but the listing should be accurate.Our automated check-in information didn’t come through, so I had to call the property manager, but they promptly provided it. There were also no dishwasher pods available for checkout.Overall, we had a very enjoyable stay. The home is comfortable and wonderfully located; with some maintenance, deeper cleaning, and a few updates, it could be an excellent rental."

"This home is lovely, very well-appointed, and exceptionally convenient to the local wineries, shops, and the Murphys Creek Theater.We greatly appreciated the cleanliness of the property as well as the very comfortable accommodations. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will hopefully return next year."

"Such an amazing weekend. The cabin is perfect. The view is stunning. The deck at night is a view to behold. The air conditioning was phenomenal (it was over 100 each day we were there). Secluded, private, and a fantastic getaway spot. Already talking about our next trip back."

"Historic home in a nice neighborhood. Clean inside and out. Full kitchen with everything you may need in utensils pots and pans. Even spices!It was 103 degrees when we stayed, it took a bit to cool the house, but it was very comfortable after a bit. Beds are terrific, thankful for clean linens and shampoo and conditioner. I forgot to pack mine. Very cozy!"

"Outstanding property in the wonderful Gold Country town of Murphys. House was clean, nicely furnished and fully equipped. Huge backyard that allowed our pooch to roam and investigate.Location was perfect. Walkable to the middle of town (less than a mile) and a couple restaurants and nice local market less than 1/2 mile. Yet far enough out to provide a quiet, restful experience. We loved it."
