"Great location for shopping but be prepared for a long walk or Uber ride to the French Quarter and the river. Seamless check-in. The front desk was wonderful. Our original room was noisy, so they switched us to a better one. The hotel is beautiful. Did not however get good advice from the concierge. My husband is a pescatarian - I don't think they know what that is. The dining room had no options for him and neither did some of the restaurants that were recommended. He also didn't tell us that the flowers at the plantation known for the azaleas had stopped flowering a month before. Other than that criticism, I recommend this hotel. "

"Centrally located and easily walkable to most area within historic Charleston. The room was clean and well-equiped with modern coastal decor. Coffee was limited to the first floor and unfortunately was out at 8am and limited staff left noone to ask for refill. The pool area was very nice, however every single seating area was reserved and left empty for the hour we were there trying to enjoy the pool."

"The hotel was fine; room was clean, bed was comfortable and the check-in attendant was very courteous and helpful. Breakfast was tasty both mornings. The one thing I did not care for was the parking situation. $15 per day and there are no spaces. I thought I was parked in a space owned by the hotel but apparently not as I ended up with a parking ticket - which I do not intend to pay. The space was at the back hotel door and not adjacent to any other businesses. Ridiculous."
