"Clean historical building with friendly staff. The Thursday cheese and crackers was perfect. Gym had enough for me—plus a stretching machine! Convenient location to everything and right across from a park. Single pane glass makes it a little loud but that’s part the charm. Starbucks in the lobby."

"We had breakfast everyday at the Peninsula. Excellent service and food. There were many shopping areas to browse through within walking distance."

"Our room was beautiful and clean with a comfy bed. The only thing it lacked was a view but the glass room was just down the hall where we could gawk at the river and skyline. The location is superb and affords easy walking distance to many delicious eateries. Our room was extremely quiet and the valet parking was a piece of cake. Breakfast was only mediocre because they put yummy food under cloches which then sweated the biscuits etc into mush. We'd stay here again despite that."

"From the moment we walked in, we loved it. Unique place with a lot of history. Greeted by staff and had a great interaction. Room is outstanding! Can not believe we snagged this quality of a room, short notice, for a quick date night with a great price! Breakfast was very yummy but was out of the hot foods by 0930 and it wasn’t restocked. Otherwise, it was delicious. We will highly recommend this to others!"

"We have stayed here several times and keep coming back. Location is ideal for walking to restaurants and sites. We love the pretty courtyard and hot tub. Staff is very friendly. We were disappointed that they charge a fee ($35?) for early check in. If the room is ready, it costs you nothing to let us in early but creates a negative vibe to charge a fee (which we chose not to do)."

"We arrived at midnight (January 9-10). The front desk was most helpful. Throughout our short stay, I have to stay every staff member we encountered was so pleasant and helpful. The breakfast variety was a nice touch as well. This is surely a hotel I would return to for a quick get away!"
