We had Chulan who looked after us during our stay and was very attentive and helpful. This place is old charm but with modern day facilities. "My room was spacious clean and modern. It was very safe and quiet. Breakfast was provided and was excellent. It is located 15 minute walk up steep road from city centre. Easy walking down and cheap uber tuk tuk ride back up the hill after leaving city center. I highly recommend this hotel when staying in Kandy."

"The property had a lovely pool, clean room, attentive staff and good location."
"Cassendra staff eere welcoming and helpful - even before I arrived. They helped me find affordable transport for a day trip and when needed were able to serve my dinner extra quickly. Wifi was touch and go but ultimately held for a few video calls. The hotel is a bit old but rooms are spacious and clean with great bathrooms.
The location is know to tuktuk drivers and the mountain offers amazing views. Its also very close to the best Kandyan dancers (5 min walk) and a view point!"
"Stunning views from this mountainside property but is a long and winding drive to get there although this only takes around 15 mins from Kandy town. The rooms are in small blocks of 4 and set apart. Lovely buffet restaurant."
