"Perfect home base for a few week stay in Buenos Aires. The room was spacious and clean. Paying extra for a room with a balcony is worth it. The view over Recoleta is lovely to look at day and night. The kitchenette area had a cooktop, microwave and refrigerator which was enough for cooking simple meals if I wanted to. Plenty of restaurants and shops nearby, as well as the weekend crafts market. The subway is two blocks away making it easy to get to other places. The staff was friendly and available if I needed anything, which I rarely did since everything was so well run. It always felt calming to come back to the hotel after being out and about in the city."

"Really enjoyed our stay here. Conveniently located. Nice room. Good breakfast. Fast Wifi. Used the co-working space which was excellent, as well as the gym. We had a small problem with a door handle in our room, chatted with the front desk about it and was fixed immediately. It was quiet at night. Upon check out, they let us leave our luggage for most of the day which helped us immensely. Just overall very good, nice and competent service. Would definitely stay here again."

"I had an amazing experience staying in Up Barrio Norte. The location is absolutely perfect — safe, walkable, and surrounded by great cafés, restaurants, and shops, and close to public transportation, which made exploring Buenos Aires incredibly easy. The hotel itself was clean, modern, and very well maintained. My room was comfortable, quiet, and thoughtfully designed with everything I needed for a relaxing stay. The bed was super comfortable, and the shower had great water pressure — always a plus after long days exploring the city. What truly stood out was the staff. Everyone was welcoming, professional, and genuinely helpful. They gave excellent recommendations for local restaurants and attractions and made me feel at home from the moment I arrived. If you’re looking for a great value stay in one of the best neighborhoods in Buenos Aires, I highly recommend staying in Barrio Norte. I would absolutely come back! "

"The room was clean and comfortable, especially the bed! I was tucked away from the front of the building so even tho it was Saturday night, I didn't hear any noise from the busy restaurants. The TV with Netflix and Prime was fabulous. While the kitchenette was a nice thought, there were no paper towels, dish rag, or dish soap so I just left a mess which I felt badly about. The bathroom was clean but there were only bath towels, no hand towels which I found strange. I'm sure I could have asked for one but I arrived late and was only staying one night so didn't bother. Checkout was at 10am, which is the norm in Argentina, but they didn't hesitate to allow me to stay until 11am which was very appreciated. The included breakfast was ample and was served one floor below reception. Service lasted until 11am (past checkout which tells me they often allow late checkouts). The location is superb - literally across the street from the entrance to the Recoleta cemetery. There is a "wine bar" on the top floor that is unmanned and you're given a key card to access the automated wine dispenser. There were 4 great choices but portions were tiny. The view of the cemetery from the small terrace is stunning and not to be missed as it's a perspective you won't get otherwise. There was a sauna and very small gym on this floor as well but I didn't use either. Check in and out was quick and efficient. I would happily stay here again as the staff was very friendly and helpful. "
