"We LOVED our stay!! The home is a bit quirky but really well appointed and roomy. The grounds are absolutely breathtaking. I could have sat in the window seat overlooking the river for at least another week. The drive through the farm yard is a bit tricky, use satnav and mind the instructions. Wear boots and be prepared to open gates. But that's part of the adventure and makes the whole experience feel truly authentic. We'd love to return, if ever our travels bring us back to Wales. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home."

"Our room was clean but very basic and small. The bathroom has been recently updated and everything works great, including plenty of hot water. The parking is especially spacious for Wales! Restaurant food is typical pub food, tasty, generous portions and served piping hot. Friendly staff. Nothing fancy here, but good value for the money."

"Beautiful house and stunning views and location. Would highly recommend to able bodied people. Unfortunately the description Hotels.com. used was inaccurate and we would not have booked the property. There is NO - on site parking as stated. On arrival the property is located at the end of a terrace of 5 houses down an uneven path and through 2 gates. The nearest the car can park to off load was at the end of the terrace so all luggage had to be carried 90+ steps to the property. The car then had to be moved and parked up on the main road if there was a space left. Sykes Cottages site does give you all this information but Hotels.com failed to use this on their site. But the property is stunning and was lovely to stay at. Just the issue with getting to and from the property each time was the disappointment."
