"There aren’t very many options of places to stay while you’re in Murphy’s unless you want to go into Angels Camp or Arnold, but I do think that of the options available this one is a better option. The space was quite clean, large and spacious. We had everything we needed. It is a bit outdated. It’s nice that they give you the option of donuts or a breakfast burrito in the morning, nothing fancy by any stretch of the imagination, but it was nice. As far as the staff, we only encountered 2 people, there was a man at checkout who was very kind and friendly, and made our checkout incredibly simple. However, there was an older blonde woman that was there when we checked in, she came off as a bit rude, and not even the slightest bit friendly. In fact, in that moment, we considered not staying, but we took a breath and a moment, and went upstairs to our room and ended up having a really nice evening. "

"Wonderful helpful staff. Clean comfortable room. Restaurant downstairs is physically connected to the hotel but not part of the hotel with a limited menu certain times in the week. Parking is open to everyone not just hotel guests."

"We just had the best stay at this house! We had a group of 3 families (6 adults and 6 children) stay here as our base for snow trips up to Bear Valley. There was plenty of space for all of us and the house is laid out perfectly for multiple families. The upstairs space had 2 bedrooms and an additional living room area and bathroom making it a perfect place for all the kids, while us adults spent most of our time downstairs. The kitchen was huge and had everything we needed to cook dinners. It looks good in the pictures, but it really exceeded our expectations and I it was even better than it looked online. We already talked about doing a return trip this summer so we can enjoy the pool and the surrounding towns. The hosts were communicative and so thoughtful to even leave some Valentine’s Day goodies for the children. I would 100% recommend this vacation rental! "

"Everything was as advertised. Amenities were excellent. Beautiful scenery and peaceful setting. Really enjoyed the pond, sauna, massage chair, and fire pit. Convenient location for the family after my son's basketball game at Sonora High. Would highly recommend for some quality family time."
