"Wonderful building. The room was better than expected. The balcony was lovely. There is a terrific dining room and a library with a fireplace in the winter. Lots of cool books to browse through. We had a delicious breakfast on the porch the wondered around the gardens. Great place for weddings and other gatherings. The town of Murphy's was a delight. All the action is just a few doors down."

It is close to Murphy, Sonora, James Town and Columbia which all have shopping and dinner choices. We came for a concert in Murphy at The Ironstone Winery which is a must see!"

"Comfortable bed for a last minute stay to go to a concert at Ironstone. Rooms sell out quick and this was fairly close, even staying in Murphy you still have to drive to the venue. Was able to pay extra for my dog and slept well here. Next door to a restaurant that opens for breakfast."

"This was a definite Experience!!! The Inn was beautifully curated in furnishings of the 1920’s. It felt like stepping back in time. Breakfast was incredible. The host not only provided a perfectly presented gourmet breakfast but also gave an interesting history of the Inn. The property is far enough up the hill to be away from the noise of the Main Street but close enough to all of the eclectic little shops and dining options. This will most definitely be a stay we will repeat and recommend...

"One of my favorite budget places to stay when I am in the area. Centrally located on the Jamestown Main street, negligible drive to Chicken Ranch, very easy to make the quick jaunt to Sonora or over to Black Oak. Facilities are starting to show their age and the satellite TV has been spotty the last few visits; but the staff has always been wonderful and accommodating each time I've stayed and I've never had any issues with room cleanliness or sanitiziation."
