"If you are afraid of the dark, this is the place for you, because the curtains are too short to block the bright lights outside. Are you the curious type? You’ll be happy to know that, due to poor sound insulation, you can hear everything going on in the rooms around you, the hall, the lobby and the nearby roadway. Seriously, after an excellent experience at the Campanile Limoges this was a let down. We booked here specifically because they were supposed to have a restaurant but we received notice the night before that it was closed for two weeks. The breakfast buffet was very basic and was frequently out of the few items it had. The pool and the patio look nice, but we would not stay here again."

"Extremely impressed. I need my stuff to be clean so I will spot the tiniest things. The bed was extremely clean and rather comfortable. Shower did the job and not that far of a walk to the City / Castle area. You’ve also got Lidl 10 mins away if you need to buy basics like toothpaste, water or a couple snacks. Staff were wonderful both check-in and checkout. They both went above and beyond and were super welcoming. I’ll definitely be considering this exact hotel again if I pop down to Carcassonne again. Merci!"

"The hotel is in the perfect location for a stay in Carcassonne. Rooms are spotlessly clean, bathroom is modern with great shower. We were able to see the castle from our bedroom window, a stunning view. We had breakfast in the hotel every day. There are lots of bars and restaurants on the road where the hotel is. Lovely relaxing garden at the back. 10/10 will definitely stay here again. "

"Really nice hotel, very convenient location. The downside is breakfast, the amounts served are really poor (ham/cheese look more like nibbles), no good value for money in my view."

"Very lovely location within the medieval city. Large room that probably could do with some refurbishment, as in other areas of the hotel. Staff were generally good but ordered a cab to the train station and the receptionist ordered it from the station to the hotel instead. If not for the cab driver making contact we would have missed our connecting train. "

"The hotel is a lovely setting and the main hotel appears to be excellent, resident cat that was the highlight of the stay and lovely dog, grounds are beautiful and lovely coffee. I would stay again with amendments; A few things holding the hotel back- rooms in a building a room over, clearly from hotels success but need work. No kettle/coffee or cups, but instead singular can of fancy water which was not replenished. Spa was a surcharge in 30 min blocks and not advertised as such and pool was closed but not advertised. It's not suitable for elder guests, as no lift and one elderly person in our ground fell down the stairs which are dark and not easy to see. "

"Great hotel and staff but just a little let down by the cleaning of the room. Felt like it had been a bit rushed, water not replaced properly, some little bits of tissue etc on the floor. Nothing worth bothering the hotel about but could have been sharper. Slightly disappointed as they have a “happy hour” that is 50% off the second drink, I worked it out eventually but too late for getting the benefit and other English speakers didn’t get it either (my French is ok but missed the explanation on the poster). I do think staff could have explained a little. Good modern hotel and great for the castle. "
