"On arrival to the property ( it’s located on the 3rd floor) , there was extensive building works in the small hall, and a very strong smell of cooking. The host greeted us and was very friendly and explained the location, however I must say the description on Hotels.com slightly stretch the actual facilities. "GC14 is ‘basic’ in some ways and has minimal facilities (although rooms have the essentials) but it’s in a great location for exploring Palermo on foot or by bus and making day-trips elsewhere in Sicily. The very best thing about it is the young, friendly and efficient staff! They couldn’t be nicer or more helpful and they made us feel warmly welcome."
