"What a gem of a find, we stayed for one night whilst travelling from England to Spain. We was warmly greeted on arrival and went straight into the pool after a very long day. "Domaine de la Calm is a real joy, a perfect retreat from the noise and bustle of 21st century life. The owner, Erfan, gave us a very warm welcome and was on hand to give help and useful advice, as required. The house is spacious and well equipped with a lovely outdoor terrace, well shaded in the summer. It is adjacent to Erfan's farm with poultry and sheep- a dream for children ! There are wonderful views towards Carcassonne and the Pyrenees. Although in a quiet rural location, the nearby village of Cuxac Cabardes has an excellent bakery and a mini supermarket as well as a good restaurant. Carcassonne is within 25 minutes drive. I thoroughly recommend this wonderful retreat in the heart of the Montagne Noire."

"We had a wonderful stay at the house. The owner, Erfan, gave us a very warm welcome and was always available if we needed any help or advice. The house was comfortable, spacious and well equipped. It has stunning views over the mountains towards the Pyrenees. Although in a quiet location it is within easy reach of Cuxac Cabardes which has shops and a restaurant as well as being a 25 minute drive to Carcassonne. I thoroughly recommend this house if you are looking for a beautiful rural location in the Montagne Noire. "
