"De gastvrouw Laura heeft geweldige tips voor restaurants, parkeren in Verona en plaatsen in de omgeving. De kamer en badkamer waren superschoon. Omdat wij graag yoghurt bij het ontbijt eten, had Laura speciaal een heel grote pot yoghurt gehaald."

"This is higher up in the mountains and remote. It was very nice and a great getaway place. He recommended a pizzeria nearby and that was also an awesome Italian experience. "

"We loved this stay. Only wished we had based in Verona and day tripped elsewhere - like Venice. Great food, beautiful sights around the city, and Truely Verona was a lovely apartment, easy walk to about anywhere."
"We would stay at Hotel Firenze in Verona again. From our initial greeting by its reception team (who speak excellent English) to their farewell, we had a very good week there. Their breakfast room staff must also be commended on their cordiality and genuine helpfulness. Our early mornings were a highlight of our trip, aided superbly by the wide range of the continental-style buffet on offer. Many thanks.
Our room was clean and comfortable (personally I found the bed pillows a little dense, but not unbearably so). Everything was kept to the standard we would expect of this hotel’s rating. Their cleaning staff too were polite and helpful. All of the hotel’s facilities were clean and convenient to use.
It should be borne in mind that this hotel is on the main road into town from the station, which is busy early in the mornings, so there can be some traffic noise. However, the windows fitted were modern, robust and double glazed, with powered external shutters controllable from within.
Hotel Firenze was ideal for us, as the station is within a 15 minute walk and likewise the centre of town. All the popular tourist sites are easy to reach. Verona is a very walkable city, we can attest, with many interesting sights and a multitude of places to eat.
We arrived by plane and taxi, but Hotel Firenze would also be ideal for those planning to tour the region using Italy’s impressive rail network and needing a stopover. We intend to do this in future, so I’m sure we will return here."
"The room was very clean, comfortable, and well maintained throughout our stay. Everything was neatly arranged, fresh, and welcoming from the moment we arrived, which gave us a very good first impression. The housekeeping standards were excellent, and the environment felt peaceful and relaxing at all times. We appreciated the attention given to cleanliness and guest comfort.
The staff members were also very helpful, polite, and professional throughout our visit. They responded quickly to requests, answered questions patiently, and made every effort to ensure that guests felt comfortable and well cared for. Their warm attitude added greatly to our positive experience.
Another highlight was the continental breakfast served each morning. There was a good variety of food options and beverages available. Everything was presented neatly and replenished regularly, making breakfast both convenient and enjoyable.
There were only a few minor drawbacks. The television had limited English channels, which reduced entertainment options for international guests. Also, the kettle in our room was broken and could not be used.
Overall, our stay was excellent. The combination of a clean room, friendly staff, and satisfying breakfast made our visit very enjoyable. We would gladly stay here again and recommend this place to anyone looking for comfortable and welcoming accommodation."
"The hotel was fine and the staff very friendly and accommodating. It appears to be an older property so the rooms are on the small side and had few plugs for electronics. Also, the water pressure in the shower was light, but adequate. The breakfast was very, very well set up. Well organized tables with more selections than perhaps any hotel I have ever stayed at. We did not take advantage on dinner onsite, but I looked at the menu, and it had numerous and varied selections. Had we dinner there, I don’t think we would have been disappointed. "
