"This property will be ideal for history and nature lovers. Character and charm are plentiful. There are horses and chickens in the ourside space nearby. The property itself is functionable and comfortable but tired in places. There is a boulangerie about 5mins drive away and it is 10 mins from castlenaudry. The vast aray of ornaments books treasures would not be ideal for curious youngsters but perfect for groups of adults and older children. The hosts were very helpful. We enjoyed our stay. "

"The uncaring reception from the Manager/owner was unique in my history of staying in hotels. Will never ever consider returning to this hovel. Add to that the gastronomic speciality of the region, cassoulet, is the most drab and dreadful plateful of food I have ever eaten. Truly reminiscent of your average Frenchman."

"A beautiful setting in a lovely tastefully renovated property.We could truly relax and forget about the day to day problems of modern life. We loved the peace and quiet, the wildlife, church bells ringing in the distance. It was as we had stepped back in time to a quieter gentle time. At the same time all the comforts of modernity were also provided whilst not detracting from the overall character of the home. 10 out of 10. Good location but very basic rooms and high price compared to other nearby properties. We rented relatively last minute and it was one of our few available options...."
