"I liked the old country feel of the Inn and the attached restaurant. Good service and good food. 1/2 price breakfast when you stay at the Inn. Great stay for a cheap price. Not too far away from Ottawa."

"Hi Chris. Thank you so much for sharing your home with us. We thoroughly enjoyed our time there! We were easily able to travel to and from Ottawa and even found time to tour around the Casselman area. However, since we were in the middle of a heat wave we spent more time at your house then we planned. It instantly felt like home with all the comforts and convenience we could ask for and we loved the "community" feel of the neighborhood. Every night ended on the back deck watching the fireflies come out... until the mosquitos arrived. Our dog, Winston, claimed your beanbag chair upon arrival and proved that he could easily travel with us with no problems. We would definitely continue returning next year (perhaps in September for the fall colors and less bugs and heat.)Thanks again for a wonderful vacation experience!Barry"
"Although we brought our toddler's old Nuna to sleep in, there was room to place the Vrbo mattress on the floor to use as a toddler bed. If your child needs darkness to sleep, I recommend bringing blackout curtains because the store light from across the street is fairly bright. If you have a mobile toddler, bring a pressure mounted baby gate for the basement entrance in-between the kitchen and living room. Pleasantly surprised to find big toys and plush animals in the kid's room. Kid's room has 2 outlets, we moved the dressers in front to block access. The best part of the property was the backyard because the sun hits the patio and yard in the morning. We enjoyed walking around the spacious yard and basking in the sunshine with Timmy's (from across the street)."
