The rooms were small but adequate. The bathroom door did not close and hair dryers are not automatic in room, must go to desk for one. The check in was a nightmare, we were just there for a weekend and left our passports under lock at our condo - only to be denied check in. No where was it given that it would be required. We found a work around with our condo manager, but the hotel was far from helpful with options. Eventually they did say would pay extra tax ... should have lead with that option! The kitchen staff at the restaurant and breakfast were fantastic. Breakfast was a bit regional but no one went hungry.

GREAT STAY AT HOTEL BARLOVENTO

Our stayed was EXCELLENT! The location was great. The hotel was very clean and smelled so refreshing……Close by the beach. Lots of restaurants and shops near the hotel Barlovento. The area is very safe. We walked late at night and felt safe. The breakfast was good. All the staff was super friendly. I highly recommend this hotel.
