El Conquistador Resort

"This is my fourth visit to Conquistador, and unfortunately, it was my least favorite experience. My door wouldn’t close, and I waited two hours for someone to come and inform me that they couldn't fix it, which forced me to switch rooms. The concierge in the evening was not very helpful with my transportation questions and simply referred me to the limo service contact, which wouldn’t arrive until the next morning. Whenever I tried to speak with a staff member, they were often on their personal phones (concierge, custodial staff), making me wait. However, Angel the porter was great! The property is beautiful, and despite the issues my family and I encountered, we still had a nice time. The food and service at Ventanas were also a highlight of our stay."

" Unforgettable Stay! This place is absolutely beautiful! The views are stunning, and having full access to the hotel amenities made our trip so much more relaxing and enjoyable. Best of all, Maria and Ramon were excellent hosts (anfitriones). They were so welcoming and made sure we had everything we needed. We will definitely be back! Highly recommend. 10/10"

"I booked this house for myself and my husband (early 40s), two kids (son 12, daughter 10) and my mom (80s).We had an amazing week at this home! It was the perfect location. Nice, quiet neighborhood with a beautiful view — but, close to all the activities we wanted (El Yunque, beach and kiosks at Luquillo, horseback riding in the rainforest, mini boats in Fajardo —- 10/10 recommend the mini boats!!). The kids loved the pool - I loved the view from the porch. It’s not directly on the beach like some rentals, but I think it’s better!Connie was a great host - she checked in during the week, but never overbearing. She had so many recommendations for us of things to see/do/eat!If someone hadn’t been checking in on our check-out day, I might have stayed forever! Or, at least a few more days!"

"Todo espectacular; lo único que añadiría es que en el cuarto principal la cama sea un poco más grande. Los colchones deberían ser un poco más cómodos. También le añadiría televisores pequeños en los cuartos y que el calentador deberían agua se pueda graduar la temperatura. Debe tener más toallas. Pero de todo lo demás está excelente. Muy tranquilo, todo accesible, limpio y hermoso."

Stunning Resort Apartment at Las Casitas

"I have been to Las Casitas en El Conquistadors many times. I got engaged there, got married there, birthdays, etc... This resort is not new to me. So when I booked this, I thought I was booking this through Expedia, but I had no idea Expedia was linked with Vrbo which apparently has hidden small letters with rules and regulations for this rental. This means no Palomino Island, no Spa, no gym, or use of the restaurants on property. Fortunately for me since I’m from the island, I managed to use ALL the facilities anyway and had an incredibly wonderful time. About cleanliness: it rained on and off every day and water comes through the door daily. There’s a mop there so you have to mop every day. They sent the cleaning person the day after I checked in to mop the floors.,lol… even though I already told the owners I did it myself. Since she was already there, I pointed at all the dust in certain areas of the bedroom and the kitchen. She SAW what I was talking about, cleaned those specific areas, but the place still needed a better cleaning, especially in the bedroom. Also when you shower get ready for the bathroom floor to be wet because the shower doesn’t really have a door that closes, this means more mopping. The best part of this place was the balcony. There you can sit, listen to the birds, watch the rain falling and it’s very relaxing. I will definitely suggest better cleaning in the bedroom since there’s no ventilation, and it smells musty. The furniture was nice."

"The lady charged me 500 extra to use the pool. She wanted it through Zelle and text me through WhatsApp app. In order to use the pool I was requested to pay that 500 before I entered the property. It says that pricey has to be listed prior to payment and it was not. It was a very shady transaction."
