"Lovely flat and super host! We were greeted so warmly that we felt like old friends. Spotless and tastefully decorated with all modern conveniences in old world charm. We couldn't have had a better experience!Communication was prompt, and Derek gave us lots of tips for travel and food. The garden was a charming spot for a tasty fish and chip dinner. We will definitely stay here again if we return to Dunfermline!"

"We booked this place at the end of our trip to Scotland because the listing said there was a dryer but there isn’t one. Getting the key was easy but unlocking the door from the inside was difficult. The air was difficult to figure out and the heat kept coming back on since it was programmed. Made it very muggy and uncomfortable to sleep.The parking is easy and there is plenty of it. The bathroom and separate rooms for watching tv and kitchen was nice."

"Pros-comfortable bed, private garden area, nicely updated kitchen and bathroom and central location Cons-uncomfortable couch, wobbly table and only 2 towels provided for 8 nights. Had to buy an entire box of laundry soap as host didn't provide any (left for next traveler). This has been provided at every previous vrbo in north america and Scotland"

"This apartment was the dream find. Being from Dunfermline, when visiting friends and family, I often book accommodation in the City (Toun). This apartment is in an ideal central location, cleaned, decorated and furnished to a high specification. A lovely place to relax with a lovely view of the Abbey. I was visiting on this occasion for my mother’s birthday and stayed there with my three adult daughters. The apartment was comfortable and spacious for us all. I will definitely be using this property again. Highly recommended."

"We arrived slightly earlier then check in and was greeted by the cleaner, who was very accommodating and allowed us access. Nice quiet spot with a Tesco nearby 5/10 min walk, accommodation was great easy to navigate with no issues at all, host was quick to respond to queries "
