"Pools were great, lots to choose from. Swim up bar is not for me but it that's what you like you'll love it. Very busy lots of music. You can find pools not so busy."

"I stayed at the Wyndham Alltra and would rate my experience 3 stars overall. Unfortunately, the stay started off poorly. Our first room was full of mosquitos, and the shower had a major drainage issue—water flooded out of the bathroom and into the bedroom. We were then moved to another room, but the transition was frustrating. We had to wait quite a while for assistance with our luggage, only to end up moving everything ourselves across the resort and up to a third-floor room. Once we got settled into the second room, we ran into the same shower flooding issue again. We called housekeeping for help, and it took over 30 minutes for them to arrive. While they did mop up the water, they left all the wet towels on the floor and didn’t offer replacements or check if we needed anything else, which felt like a lack of basic service. That said, not everything was negative—the food was very good, and the amenities were enjoyable, which helped balance out the experience somewhat. Overall, there’s potential here, but the maintenance issues and service shortcomings made the stay less comfortable than expected."

"Room was nice, plenty of space for two adults two teens without getting a big suite. Staff was super friendly and helpful. We did have trouble with our bracelets getting into room the first night but after that no issues. Pool and beach seats do fill up fast, going out early to snag a seat seemed to be the norm, after first day we would go out early and then have breakfast at Panama or isla market right near pools. Also we sat in the sand one day as we didn’t see any chairs, within 5 minutes staff came over and got chairs for us! Honestly such friendly staff. Love the coffee shop open 24 hrs, easy to get coffee, water, juice, pastries or sandwiches. The beach is stunning! Even with red flags you can go in to your knees/waist and have fun in the waves. Water is beautiful and only saw seaweed one day. Tons of beach space and compared to some tropical beaches you don’t have to dodge a lot of vendors trying to sell stuff. I have seen reviews where you were pressured to sit in timeshare pitch but that never happened to us. Only word of advice for checkout is that if you charge anything to room you have to stand in a LONG line at other end of building ( not where you check in). If there are no charges you can do express checkout. So leave extra time or just pay by cc for any extras. Line moved faster than we thought though. All in all great time!"

"We stayed in a two bedroom harbor view at the Reef. Had lots of space for 4 adults and one 20 year old. Room was clean and well appointed. Resort is beautiful and there is a ton to do. Loved the water park especially the rapid river. Marine life everywhere you turn and the dig is spectacular! Dining we enjoyed most was Cocodrilo, Marina pizza , and Good Lies Sports bar. We were not impressed with Carmines. While salad was huge and tasty, meatball in red sauce and rigatoni was watery and no flavor. Also disappointed in shrimps scampi. Worst was being totally forgotten at end of meal, waited at least 25 from time done eating till asked someone not our waiter to get our check . We did Finn’s, flippers and feathers was absolutely amazing and my ten year old granddaughter was trying to figure out a way to live at Atlantis. Her enjoyment made it a fabulous vacation."

"Nice property, isolated from any town. Quiet, pretty. They tend to play music—sometimes loudly—at the pools and restaurants, so be forewarned if you are someone who prefers quiet. Staff are super nice and helpful; extremely welcoming."
