A beautiful hotel with lots of local character. Staff were so friendly and helpful, delicious breakfast. Very close to the cafes and shops of Stellenbosch and felt very safe, which was important to me as a solo female traveller.

Truly great staff: professional, warm, and helpful. The place is Dutch Cape beautiful and makes you feel right at home. Perfect location in downtown Stellenbosch, yet a 100m or so from the noisier parts. Will stay again.

Ideal stay

Probably the best hotel stay I've ever enjoyed. Excellent staff, very friendly and helpful. The cooked-to-order breakfast was always perfect. The hotel itself is very comfortable with pleasant and tasteful decor. Close (but not too close) to central Stellenbosch and the University, we were able to walk to anything we were looking for.
