Peaceful week of sunshine in a beautiful setting

Nuria was a lovely host. Comfortable house well suited to having separate space for mum and dad and grown up daughter. A much loved house rather than the usual "furnished by IKEA" rental. Very short walk to 2 vineyard tours / tastings. Local shop means you don't need to move far from the pool for a few days at a time. Well worth a return visit.

Si lo que buscas es tranquilidad, silencio y poder darte un chapuzón con el calor, es ideal. Con una niña adolescente, que tenga conexión wifi es un punto a favor. Además, tenemos una perrita, un bichón maltés, que ha disfrutado muchísimo corriendo por el terreno que tiene la casa. La atención por parte de la dueña de la casa a sido inmejorable. Muy atenta y amable. Es probable que repitamos estancia. Muy contentos.

Beautiful stone home with character and yet modern equipped in idilic location, clean and well maintained. With attention to detail throughout the property. The pool and the outside setting must be a dream in summer. Nuria is the perfect hostess, who knows every corner of the area, recommending places to visit, even itineraries and welcoming us with local delicacies. We felt so welcome! Thank you again. We were here with Tramontana winds blowing so powerfully that we had to sleep in the ground floor. Internet connection in the Cafe Bar in the village at the time of our visit. I will recommend this place and will visit again in summer if we return to Catalunya again.

Stunning!

Can Santaló is one of the most beautiful holiday homes we have stayed in over many years of renting holiday accommodation in southern Europe. It is set in spectacular surroundings with 360 degree views of the mountains and countryside - the heavenly view is even possible from the bed upstairs! The stone work and the beams are full of so much character. The care and attention that the owners have put into taking this from a ruin to this fantastic home is clear. The house is extremely well equipped. The furniture is tasteful, solid and comfortable – indeed the beds are as comfortable as any boutique hotel we have stayed in. The outside space is just as stunning, with the big garden (plenty of places to hide away), the lovely pool and the large bbq/poolhouse for dining in or simply sheltering from the sun – or as the case may from time to time, watching the lightning. The house is a perfect base for travel throughout the local area - up into the mountains or down to the sea; assuming you can pull yourself way from the house! There are plenty of good dining possibilities in the area and there are even two welcoming traditional bars in the village, as well as two wineries (we only visited one (Masia Serra), and can highly recommend a tour). We are seriously considering our return visit, perhaps even some winter when we can get to test out the wood burners and the under floor heating. Can Santaló really is stunning.

maravillosos dias de descanso

Hemos pasado unos dias deliciosos en esta casa restaurada con un gusto exquisito, llena de calidez y armonia Nos ha acompañado nuestra mascota con la que hemos disfrutado del amplisimo jardin desde el que se observa un horizonte magnifico Ademas de la casa principal de dos pisos, dispone de un comedor abierto que dispone de una barbacoa i de un tierno cuarto de aseo muy especial. En frente hay una piscina de la que pudimos disfrutar cada dia Han sido unos dias muy agradables y relajantes, que sin duda intentaremos repetir si esta disponible . Los propietarios nos han dado una magnifica acogida y se han ocupado perfectamente del benestar de nuestra estància

Une vrai maison authentique complètement intégrée, dans un paysage renversant dont on ne se lasse pas!!!! Intérieur très joli, tout droit sorti d'un magazine de décoration (moderne et pratique) La propriétaire est une personne très disponible et très accueillante. Possibilités soit de se reposer ou de faire des visites culturelles (Cadaques, Roses, Figueres, et la superbe ville de Barcelone) Nous recommandons vivement cette très jolie maison de campagne a toute personne désirant le calme et la tranquillité.
