Great friendly service
We booked this very last minute (hours before arrival). The front desk staff was always friendly and helpful. They stored our luggage the day we left so we could visit the beach and even let us change in another room. Great for a quick one night stay passing through Cannes.

I am extremely dissapointed by the fact that I was obligated to pay 90€ as a guarantee because the night auditor said that they don't take bookings on Expedia in the evening and I must pay in cash as a guarantee. I left the hotel for a morning walk and came back at 605am to find nobody in the lobby. The password wasn't working. I rang manytime. I had to go to the Majestic Barriere to kill some time until 715am, and still no one at the reception. I want a compensation for this Ill reatment . Mr.Bah-Pna Dahane

Hello sir, As I explained to you this morning, the night porter who received you last night has just started, he thought he was doing the right thing but unfortunately he does not yet know the operating mode of the hotel. I want to apologize again for this inconvenience. Regarding your morning walk after which you could not access the hotel. I asked you if you were provided with the code necessary to access the hotel on your arrival, you confirmed that yes and that you had left it in your room, hence the fact that I do not understand for what reason on your comment you say that it did not work ! I would like to inform you at the same time that you still have not vacated the room although departures are scheduled for 10:30 am and that I am awaiting your return to the hotel so that you can collect your belongings. kind regards.

The beats place to stay in Cannes near the beach .
Great value for money in the centre of Cannes . Excellent welcome from the staff , lovely room , spotlessly clean , lovely shower and bathroom . All in all ......perfect !

Very pleasant stay at Hotel Alize in Cannes
The staff were friendly and helpful, especially the British lady who was very considerate and hospitable. She suggested good restaurants, told us about transportation, and a great place to see the fireworks display on July 14. The room was comfortable. The a.c. worked well and our room had a combination tub and shower which was appreciated.

Small, functional room close to the beach
The room was very small (tiny), but clean and a stone’s throw from the beach. Enjoyed talking with the employees too. I’d stay here again if on the same budget.

Very good stay...
Had a great stay here. The staff were amazing, very informative, friendly and helpful. Especially Shelly who give me very good advice about the area. The hotel is perfectly located, near to the beaches, shops and other attractions. Also very near to the train and bus stations if you want to travel to Nice or further. I would definitely recommend.

Nice, convenient, optimally-located little hotel. Details are cared of; Reception personnel were all super-kind, helpful and flexible. Room was clean. Very good quality/cost ratio. If you are not seeking luxury, and you are content with a quiet and convenient stay, go for it. I will again. Just one thing: If only morning service personnel realized that chatting loud in between room cleaning could disturb people who are still resting, everything would be perfect!

A good stay. Staff great, got a great price. Walls a little thin, but was undisturbed. Nice breakfast available, perfect location. Near everything. Small shower in my single room, but a good bed. Internet was slow, but they said they were fixing it. Ok for a two star hotel.

The two staff at reception couldn't have been friendlier. We instantly felt at home. Shelly (the English woman at reception) had a lovely long chat with us and gave us so many local reccomendations for places to eat. The hotel may be rated as 2 star but service was better than some 5 star hotels I've stayed in. Location could not be more perfect or better value for money. Stones throw away from the beach and walkable to the train station too. Room was simple but extremely comfortable and spacious. Would 100% reccomend to anyone looking for an affordable hotel in the best area of Cannes. Thank you for a great day, we hope to be back.

Great Location, Great Price!
Highly recommend this place to anyone staying in the area for a few nights. Conveniently located to pretty much everything in Cannes, and a hop-skip-and-jump away from the central train station. Staff was very friendly upon check-in and spoke decent English. My room was small but cozy, just what I needed. All the facilities were modern and in good shape. I had a cold while I was traveling so the second night, I was able to bring a hot water pot up to my room to have tea before bed. The one issue (with many hotels) was how thin the walls were to the hallway and the proximity of other rooms/guests. I was trying to go to sleep early and a couple was arriving around 10pm, lugging heavy boxes and crates from the elevator right past my door to the room next door. I tried telling them to be quieter but it was a bit disruptful. Other than that, a perfectly decent stay.

Great Boutique Hotel
This Hotel is perfectly located, just between the promenade and the marina. The staff was more than helpful and the hotel room was very comfortable. We loved our stay here in Cannes and the convenience to walk everywhere was amazing!! would stay again in a heart beat

The Alize is a great find and I will stay there again. The proprietor is really helpful and cheery. The room is quite roomy with all you need. The surfaces one comes in contact with are clean - sink WC, bed, floors but the walls and tiles could use a thorough cleaning. great location but still quiet.

Good Enough for me!
We had a great stay. Overall good accommodations. Didn't eat there. Very close to everything. Only one thing walls are a bit thin apparently they can hear an excited call home at 1 in the am. Otherwise no issues very pleasant stay and great price.

Nice inexpensive option in center of everything
We checked in quickly and got to our air conditioned room. Nice sized room. The room smelled a little of smoke but we adjusted and bathroom plumbing smelled a bit but nothing too overwhelming and given the price we were fine. Location, AC and price were the best parts. 2 short blocks to the water and restaurants, awesome ice cream place at the corner with breakfast, post office across from the hotel (we had to mail stuff home), and train station was a 5 min walk. I'd stay here again in a heartbeat!

We only stayed one evening as a pitstop from our road trip. We were even able to park in front of the hotel. The location is perfect! Just a street away from the Palais des Festivals (Cannes Film Festival location) and the beaches! The hotel itself is quite old. The bathroom had mold and the bed was a little hard to sleep on. There is free wifi, which worked 80% of the time. The elevator is very small so be aware of that if you have a lot of luggage. There are stairs available otherwise. Overall, I do recommend this hotel just for the location for the price.

The hotel staff were so friendly and did everything they could to accommodate us. The room was fantastic for the price; nice bathroom, all appliances a great standard, a lot of space and very comfortable. The hotel's in a great location and very secure. Would definitely recommend.

Great for the Money
The room was very small but it is also right in the middle of Cannes and is a great value. The service was very efficient and the staff was very willing to help. A/C worked, breakfast was good for the price and very convenient. I would stay again. For the Film Festival it is amazingly in the middle of everything.

Charming small hotel near all Cannes has to offer.
Charming 2* hotel in City Centre, minutes from rail/bus stations and Croisette. Very reasonable single room-room only rate yielded a good sized room, king size bed and decent bathroom. Surprisingly little street noise given location. Friendly and helpful owner and desk staff. Highly recommended.

+This hotel is exactly as advertised. +Ensuite bathroom is larger than most in Europe, you could actually change your clothes in there if you wanted to. +Location is perfect, it is right in the middle of everything, close to the beach and yet if is still quiet! - /+the hotel still uses keys, this can be quite loud in the middle of the night (you can only hear the rooms right next to or across from you). This could be taken as a statement about how quiet the hotel is that a simple key in a lock becomes annoying. - not all reception staff speak English. -It actually wouldn't take much to get this hotel from a 2 star to a 3 star. Some new carpet, a little less ikea inspiration on the furniture and making the bed to perfection (at the moment it is made, but like you'd probably make it at home everyday, when in 3* hotels they fold the sheets back etc).

Our family stayed here for three nights and had a great experience. The room was small and it isn't fancy, but it is clean, in a great location, and has a very helpful staff that speaks English.

Hotel was rated on many sites as excellent. This is overrated. For the price you expect more. Small room, small lift no bar, no aircondition settings. Rating should say good minus 6/10
