"The hotel is really cool and in a very old structure. Appointed very well with modern amenities but still keeping a lot of the old world charm. "Hotel is up an amazingly steep mountain with multiple hairpin bends, not for the faint hearted but amazing drive for our Porsche. Hotel son and daughter very welcoming and helpful. Rooms are clean but basic, towels very old. We struggled with the fixed menu food offering and there is really no where else so you have no choice. Breakfast is very much cake and meats and quite limited. However for the experience of being at the top of a mountain with only cows with bells, it Is unique"

"The breakfast buffet was disappointing. The scrambled eggs were cold, limited breakfast choices, little fresh fruit mostly canned. For some reason an attendant positioned behind a food table handled selections for smoked salmon, cheeses, pastries, etc. Why? To control the portions? Thinking the guests would take too much? The walls in the room are thin. I would hear someone next door removing clothing from hangers in the closet."

"This is a beautiful property located steps from all the attractions in Verona. Milena at the front desk is so lovely and gave us excellent recommendations for restaurants and things to do in and around the city. Our room was elegant and spacious with everything we needed. A very comfortable bed and a great shower were much appreciated. Breakfast is offered in the morning for a very reasonable price. We enjoyed our stay here very much and we can highly recommend this hotel."
