"Set up for weddings but perfectly suitable for a short break in Cambridge. Easy access to Cambridge with good local amenities. Rooms were well kept with good en-suites. Enjoyed being able to run local footpaths through woods."

"This is our third visit to this hotel. It is reasonably priced, in good condition and has a dated appeal. There is no lift nor air conditioning. The staff are polite and friendly yet somehow the staffing doesn’t work. The checking in process at reception is lengthy and feels very bureaucratic. The bar is open from 4pm but is apparently unmanned early on. I have wandered through the hotel looking for someone to serve me but found nobody except for the receptionist, who was wading through the bureaucracy with another guest. There needs to be a means of summoning guests both to the bar and reception."

"Very nice hotel in a very nice & clean city. Loved our stay here & the swim & sauna every day was a boost. Only downside I felt was the bar was a bit chaotic when the hotel hosted events. Didn’t seem that this part of the hotel was run as efficiently."
