"Clean room, friendly staff, great breakfast. "

"We stayed at Toby’s resort in April 2026. Due to the recent hurricane in Montego Bay, our usual lodging was greatly damaged. I looked on the reviews from Expedia and decided to give it a try. The check-in process was not bad. The manager was very pleasant and inviting. Once we began walking to our room, there was a long flight of steps to go up. We booked the “DELUXE” room. Sad to say there wasn’t anything deluxe about the room. The room was definitely outdated, the bathroom door was a sliding door. We didn’t have a dresser to put our clothes in. The iron leaked, the iron board had no iron padding and couldn’t be removed from the wall. The bathroom had a scent from the sewage that was backing up from the pipes, they gave us coffee beans to cover the scent. The room needed a paint job. The king-size bed was 2 twin beds put together. I must say that our cleaning lady was great, she gave us fresh sheets and fresh towels daily. She was friendly. She apologized for the scent in the bathroom and said that since the hurricane, everywhere had issues with sewage back-up. Check-out was easy. Will I stay there again? No. This “resort” needs a complete makeover. The reviews were very misleading."

"This place was OK. It was very cheap so it was caused efficient but there’s a lot of things that could be worked on when I visited. They’re supposed to have like a snack area, but none of the snacks were stocked up so I had to do a lot of orders for food, which is not no problem, but it would be nice if that’s what the place offers for them to have it the first room that I went to the AC wasn’t working, but the staff was helpful and accommodated me to another room, but I feel like the sheets weren’t cleaned. There was stains on the toilet, etc.. The TVs weren’t working couldn’t connect to the Wi-Fi. Couldn’t enjoy television at the least but honestly, it was OK for where it was. If you don’t mind the hotel, you just need somewhere to lay your head. It’s not a bad place at all. I barely saw any bugs. She’s probably little ants here and there, but that’s typical in Jamaica."

"Definitely will stay here again. Beautiful rooms. Great staff. Only thing weird was the plumbing. Oh, and a club not too far away that made it loud at night at times. Other than that, Tania was the best! The chef (Que, I believe) was great. Pool was pretty. 7 minute walks to the market or the beach."
