"The hotel itself was pretty, and the buffet was surprisingly excellent. There’s a putt putt course there, but they don’t even turn the lights on at night. So don’t plan on using it after the sunsets. The Mexican restaurant that you have to have a reservation for isn’t really worth the time or effort. The food was delicious with plenty of variety and drinks were excellent- there was always something to enjoy. "We chose this resort to celebrate our first wedding anniversary, and while there were some positive aspects, our overall experience did not meet the expectations of a luxury five-star property. Upon arrival, we waited about 10–15 minutes before being greeted. During the booking process, the hotel had been informed that we were celebrating our first wedding anniversary as a same-sex couple. At check-in, we were asked if we wanted to change to a room with two beds instead of one. We found this comment disappointing and somewhat inappropriate given the information already provided in our reservation. Another major downside was the lack of an introduction to the resort. At other luxury five-star hotels, staff usually take the time to explain the property, point out the pools, restaurants, amenities, opening hours, and answer any questions. None of that happened here, which made the arrival feel impersonal. The resort is also very family-oriented, with many children throughout the property. The staff was wonderful with families and kids, but if you’re a couple looking for a quiet or romantic getaway, this may not be the best choice. The buildings are beginning to show their age, and some areas feel worn compared to what we expected from a luxury resort. On a positive note, the restaurants were excellent and the dining experience was one of the highlights of our stay. Overall, while families will likely enjoy this resort, we don’t feel it delivers the level of service, attent"

"We found the staff really helpful - happy to get us fresh sheets in the middle of the night when kids had an accident! The all inclusive was good value - yes some of the meals feel a bit repetitive after a few days but overall decent food. The local beach is underwhelming and harder to access but we were happy at the pool and it was the quieter side of the island - Alcudia and Soller seemed way more touristy and expensive! But it was an hour drive back to Palma so a hire car is essential. Decor a bit dated but clean"

"Ideal location in Cala Bona, our room had an ocean view and a nice sized balcony. Room was very spacious and clean with a comfortable bed, small fridge, hairdryer and safe. Outdoor pool was a good size with plenty of sunbeds although they were all taken by 9am. There is also a separate sundeck away from the pool together with a small indoor pool. Staff were friendly and helpful. We were on half board, both breakfast and dinner are buffet-style with a variety of both hot and cold food."
