"Staff were very friendly and helpful. We had a two bedroom suite with pool view and balcony, great view of the ocean from the 3rd floor. The rooms are a little tired looking and could do with an update (floor chipped and smoke detectors were covered in plastic for some reason), the main living area not very cosy and could’ve been furnished a little better. Comfy beds though and good water pressure in shower. Cleaners thew away my contact lens case which was a little annoying. Kids enjoyed the pool, we were there in July and it was very busy towards the end of the day but could always find a sun lounger. Breakfast was good with lots of options."

"Lovely quaint hotel. It really had such a home from home feel about the place, so welcoming. Breakfast was amazing. We were given recommendations for restaurants just a short drive away. We decided one day just to laze around the pool and we was able to use the kitchen to make our own lunch. Absolutely loved this hotel, definitely want to go back . Thank you so much."

"The location is great if, like us, you are looking for something relatively remote and quiet. Great for exploring the forest and the nearby beaches. The property is in excellent condition and very well equiped for a comfortable stay. This does not feel like just another semi-empty short-term rental, it feels like it is managed by someone that goes the extra mile to ensure you have everything you may need during your stay. The attention to detail is evident all around the property.The kids loved the place and could not get enough of the heated pool.Thank you Manuela for a lovely stay, we will surely return."

"We loved our time at Ursula’s property. The house is situated in the middle of nature, yet just a short drive away from all amenities, characterful small towns, great beaches and within easy reach of Lisbon. The property was clean, very spacious and felt like a home away from home. Communication was a dream with copious information of house, surroundings, places to eat etc. being provided upfront, which showed us even before arrival that the owner really does care. "
