"Our stay was fabulous from driving up to the chateau, the views that we were greeted with blew us away. Fantastic hospitality from our host was second to none. Beautiful clean room. The evening meal and breakfast all homemade were outstanding. We highly recommend this beautiful chateau to anyone visiting the area. We will definitely be trying to fit another stay when were visiting the area again. "

"Pros: Beautiful view of lake and mountains from the balcony. Very convenient for Le Train d'Artouste. Cons: Must provide your own, sheets, pillowcases, towels, toilet tissue, paper towels, trash bags, soap and other toiletries that are commonly provide by hotels and other overnight facilities. You must clean the place when you leave. Apartment consists of one room with a small kitchen, dining area with two lounges covered with smelly blankets. and a loft with two small bedrooms. Both bedrooms have sloped ceiling like an attic. Hit my head a couple of times. Beds are small and not suitable for anyone taller than 6 feet. The apartment is on the third floor with no elevators. Only closets for hanging clothes was locked or filled with cleaning tools and supplies Shower and toilet are on the first level. Stairs to the loft are narrow and slippery, very dangerous Concierge office is not open, I use Expedia when traveling because I do not like surprises, This booking was full of unpleasant surprises. Very disappointed. When we arrived, we were lucky to find a kind waiter in an adjoining restaurant who spoke English and contacted the caretaker who works from home. Although the caretaker seemed surprised that we were there, he did do his best to accommodate. Suggestion to the owners: If you are going to offer the apartment on an international platform such as Expedia, communications should be in multiple languages in addition to French, particularly Spanish, and English. "A wonderful property mid way up the into the mountains. Cabin was a little small for our family of five. About 15 minutes to the Col d'Aubisque and 15 minutes down into Larun. It is a well placed property. The pool was a great way to relax after a day in the mountains. The hotel attendants were very nice, multi-lingual, and helpful. "
