"The staff were very friendly. Absolutely beautiful hotel but slightly damp bathrooms (we had two separate rooms with a bathroom each - both damp). Fabulous breakfast. Very local position - we could walk everywhere in Marrakech. Great hotel"

"Spa was lovely, breakfast OK and dinner disappointing. Staff were rude when I raised an issue about the room I'd been given not being as expected (and smelling badly of stale smoke despite being a non-smoking room) - one receptionist hung up on me when I called from the room. I was told repeatedly to come back later at reception and they tried to give me a smaller room that the category I paid for. Eventually got a nice room but it ruined the first 2 days of our holiday. Would never go back."

"I recently stayed at the Radisson Blu and unfortunately my experience did not meet expectations. At check-in, the staff member was not the friendliest, which set the tone for the stay. I had booked this room two months in advance and specifically requested that it be decorated to surprise my fiancé for his birthday. To my disappointment, nothing had been arranged upon arrival. After submitting feedback 24 hours later, I was approached by the same staff member while I was leaving the property in the elevator. At that point, it felt too late and more like an attempt to address the situation because of my feedback rather than a proactive effort to make things right. While discussing the matter with another staff member, he was extremely obnoxious and did not follow up on what he had committed to. The lack of ownership and follow-through was frustrating. On our last day, we finally spoke with the property manager, who did arrange something special in the room. I genuinely appreciate his apology and his effort to rectify the situation created by his team. The room itself was clean, but it definitely felt lived in, with noticeable wear and tear. Overall, I’m not sure this experience lived up to the 5-star standard I’m accustomed to. "

"Very loud from the 6 way traffic outside the hotel. The doors for the room don’t close properly, the locks on the door are missing screws. The staff are very suspect, the older chap on reception looks really shifty a looks like he’s always plotting something. One of the nights someone tried to enters the room in the middle of the night, probably looking for wallets or something whilst I slept. Good job they didn’t enter because I would have gotten a free pass to try bob bucklands “chicken wing” on them. The breakfast is very meagre they provide you with a set breakfast. Waited over an hour for breakfast to be served and they were serving others before us. I wouldn’t stay again and I would definitely make females aware of this. This also has happened in other Morocco hotels so it’s something to be aware of. Very bad experience "

"First, they don’t provide shuttle rides to the airport as stated in their listing. Second: I asked to change room because of an horrible bathroom (sewage) odor. Then, we got “upgraded” to another room who at first semt fine. The sewage smell arrived later. There was no fan, and plenty of mold in the bathroom. Lastly: I asked twice for towels for 2 people and the evening receptionist came later with a mini towel (hand) and a huge one. The overall cleanness was very distinguish. There were stains on the bed sheet and very poor sound insolation. I travelled a lot and I must say this was a pretty deceiving and off putting experience."

"Honestly, this was "Average" (3-Star), but it got upgraded a star because of 1-2 service/concierge agents. They did really go above and beyond to help transport luggage left behind from Marrakech to Casablanca, and one who served as a translator when my wife was sick and had the doctor visit us in the room. Otherwise, I find the place to be too conceited about what they think their persona actually is. Four Season, Mandarin, Aman and of course the Royal Mansour - all better options."
