"My room was a lovely suite with its own kitchen and sofa. I think furniture lay out could be changed so you could watch TV from the sofa rather than just the bed. My TV didn’t work the first night but the staff fixed it the second night, and offered me another room if they couldn’t. Breakfast was nice and lots of choice. Hot food cooked fresh. The hotel is more central than I thought so easy to walk into town along the river or even to the large garden centre. A big downside is my room was in the annex on the ground floor with the car park right outside. I had to keep the curtains closed as cars and people were directly outside my window."

"Overall a pleasant stay, staff were friendly and welcoming. Room was lovely and warm, and had timed heating. The room was really clean other than a small food stain on the curtain. A few minor fixes needed…Headboard needed a patch up as peeling. A small hole in the wardrobe door and a few scrapes on the wall. Appeared to be newly wallpapered but there were bubbles within the paper. The bathroom was lovely and looked newly renovated. For the price paid we were happy. Free parking was a bonus."
