Fabulous stay. This was a last minute impulse trip so we didn’t know what to expect but on arrival we were impressed. Delightful setting, great facilities, excellent quality of finish to the interior and exterior of the property. We stayed in The Brewery annexe which is lovely. Rooms were not huge but well appointed and being on the ground floor, moving around the property was very easy. The little cafe tables outside these rooms was lovely. This is obviously an old coaching inn and the interior of the pub reflects this with traditional design and comfort. Log fires, comfy armchairs and leather sofas. We enjoyed a lovely evening meal which was good value and a great breakfast the following morning. Friendly and helpful staff. Will return. Highly recommended.
