"room was ok for what we needed.couch was old.mattress was old and soft.room was clean.fridge worked good.bathroom was clean but vent needs to be cleaned.needs proper bath towels."

"This property is incredible! Hotel has it all. Big wonderful well appointed rooms, great restaurants and amazing service. At night there are often deer roaming around. The history of the property is also fascinating to learn about. Can’t wait to stay again. "

"The wood stove and heat pump kept the place warm and cozy. Beautiful spot on the river. Open concept cabin with a lot of the items already there, so less to pack. Hosts were very easy to communicate with and helpful. We would go back in the summer next time and try out the kayaks."

"I arrived late last night. The owners were so kind, they turned the heat on and made things very comfortable for when I arrived. The room is so clean it has a lovely wardrobe lots of drawers for clothes and beautiful white linens. Super clean! Way better than many holiday inn expresses that I have stayed in."

"We had a beautiful stay! The cottage is clean, comfortable and well situated to enjoy the lake view from your muskoka chairs on the waterfront deck. Karen and Stew are excellent hosts who have anticipated their guests' every need. We appreciated all the small touches such as coffee and snacks. The kitchen is well supplied and very functional. We were cozy and warm here during a beautiful fall weekend. And there's lots to do see and do in the surrounding area. We'll be returning."
