"Staff were very pleasant and accommodating. It's an old school motor inn that leaves you feeling like you've traveled back in time...in a fun way! The room we stayed in (honeymoon suite) was reasonably updated and met all of our needs. The accomodation is quite basic but seemed adequate overall. Just don't expect anything "fancy" and you won't be disappointed. Great location being immediately off the highway and also just a few minutes and direct drive to beautiful Cobourg Beach. We are already planning to return again!"

"Had a lovely stay at this hotel. Rooms were clean and well-appointed with a TV and a fridge. Had Keurig machines in room, which was a bonus. The small deck off the room, with a lovely view of the river was really nice - lots of ducks and geese wandering the grass. The bed was comfortable, the shower had good water pressure, and there was a small couch in the room as well. The lobby had 24-hour coffee/tea/cocoa and a cold water dispenser. The breakfast was great - hot and cold options, open early. Finally, the pool and hot tub were great. Pool was clean, warm and had a proper deep end. The hot tub was small, but it worked well. Just a great hotel, nicely situated on the river."

"Hosts were fantastic and checked in with us fairly regularly. Entire cottage was very clean, we'll appointed, and very spacious for the 5 of us. There was lots to do, plenty of movies, kayaks, canoe, peddle boat, and outdoor games. Sunsets from the fire pit were amazing! Was well worth the price and I highly recommend."
